PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL HOSTS KIDS’ DAY ON APRIL 2nd – FREE EVENT FOR FAMILIES


The Phoenix Film Festival has announced Kids’ Day to take place on Saturday, April 2 from 10am through 3pm at the Party Pavilion Tent. Kids’ Day is FREE event and a great way for kids of all ages to come out and experience the festival by participating in film-related activities including:

  • Stop motion animation provided by Glendale Community College

  • Green screen photo booth courtesy of Arizona State University

  • Storyboard workshop provided by Huntington University

  • Story Time with the Scottsdale Public Library

  • Valley Youth Theater acting station

  • Pictures taken on the Bookman’s Red Carpet provided by Bookman’s Entertainment Exchange

  • Makeup/Face Painting Station

In addition, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa County Injury Prevention Program will host a free car seat check seminar for expectant mothers and newborns to children under 4’9”, to make sure those future filmmakers are safely transported in their car seats. Have questions about car seats? How long should your child stay in a rear-facing car seat? When to transition to forward-facing? Come to the PFF Kids’ Day and have all of your questions answered by certified specialists in transportation safety.
